a birthday

It was R’s birthday at the beginning of March. We celebrated with presents and breakfast in bed (made by me), then cocktails and a delicious dinner at Nopi after work. 

R doesn’t like making a big fuss of his birthday (in total contrast with me) but I really like making it special, even if most of the day is spent in work!

I got him a lovely Japanese coffee grinder and some posh coffee beans to grind.

I also gave him a flask to take on walks and future camping trips, a linen dressing gown and a few other things. He was a happy husband!
